KAPLAN NURSING ASSESSMENT PREP

Nursing Program Accreditation Site Visit Set

The Paramedic to ADN Bridge program consists of three semesters of 11-14 credit hours per semester, after you have completed certain prerequisites. Since we recognize that you have already gained much knowledge and expertise as a paramedic, the program has been designed to fill in the gaps, so you would not need everything a student starting from the beginning needs to be able to graduate and take the NCLEX. Some early classes, clinicals, and labs will have you to working alongside these beginning students, but not all.ÌýÌý

The program integrates practice and theory and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

Most classes are held at the Parkland ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉútv campus, with one class completely online and one class partially online during the last semester. Clinicals are held at Carle and OSF hospitals as well as many settings in surrounding communities. State-of-the-art simulation complements our clinical experiences.
