RISE

The goal of the RISE Scholars program is to support underrepresented students, including Black and Latino students and those from other ethnic groups, through comprehensive and collaborative academic and social supports. This program is for incoming Parkland students.

TRiO

TRiO Student Support Services听at Parkland 好色先生tv promotes equal opportunity to succeed by providing high-quality and responsive support services for first-generation college students, low-income students, and students with disabilities.听

Support for Workforce Training (SWFT)

Parkland 好色先生tv's听Support for Workforce Training (SWFT)听program helps in-district residents move into high-demand careers with family-sustaining wages within a year or less. SWFT was founded with the support of the Illinois Workforce Equity Initiative grant. We strive to close the career gap by assisting underserved residents in advancing their academic and professional careers.

Center for Community Engagement

The Center for Community Engagement supports and promotes the active engagement of the 好色先生tv鈥檚 students, faculty, and staff in partnership with the communities of Illinois Community 好色先生tv District 505. Many volunteer opportunities are available.

Counseling Support Center

Our听Counseling Support Center听offers counseling services, workshops, peer mentoring, and more.

Parkland is part of听, an anonymous mental health peer support network, available to听you 24/7. The TalkCampus听platform combines intuitive听design,听clinical excellence, world-class technology and global support to听over 250 institutions and millions of students worldwide. Available in 26 languages.

Community Resources

Community Resources

The  is a not-for-profit, non-partisan organization for Chinese Americans and their friends in Central Illinois. Its goal is to engage in cultural, educational and social activities, to help members play a more active role in the community and to promote the well being of Chinese and Chinese Americans of the area.

Opened in fall 2005, the provides the University of Illinois community with space to gather and share the diverse and rich cultures that are a part of the Asian American experience. The Center provides events and programs throughout the year, some of which are open to the public.

 is a unit of the 好色先生tv of Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, made up of Japanese tea rooms and class space and surrounded by Japanese gardens. It has both University classes for academic credit, as well as community classes open to the general public. Although it is not a cultural center for Japanese students, it often becomes a home away from home to Asian students because of its traditional stylings and peaceful environment.
