Clinical Site Placement:
Medical Assistants are in demand and can work in a variety of settings.
Parkland 好色先生tv has partnerships and a board-approved clinical affiliation agreement with the local clinics in the 505 district and their outlying locations. Students will be required to travel for their clinic assignment.

Program Outcomes for 2022
The retention rate for the 2022听Certified Medical Assisting class was 93%. The 2-year average for the National Healthcare Association (NHA) Exam Passage for the years 2021-2022 is 100%. The current job placement rate is听80%.
Post survey results show 100% employer satisfaction with recent graduates.

Students will be eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exam.

Advanced Placement:
Students are required to successfully complete all of the requirements and courses in the Medical Assisting Program to be eligible for graduation and to sit for the certification exam.听 Students transferring from other institutions accredited medical assisting programs (CAAHEP) may be eligible for acceptance into various stages of the program. An audit of MAERB assessed competencies may be needed in order to transfer.
Students who have developed knowledge, skills and values from direct experiences outside a traditional academic setting will be considered for advanced placement.听
This is determined after transcripts, course syllabi, outlines and skills have been evaluated by the appropriate staff and faculty of the Parkland 好色先生tv.听

Accreditation Status: The Medical Assistant program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of Medical Assisting Education Review 好色先生tv (MAERB).听
